Weld View Cameras

By delivering clear views of the brightest features of a welding torch tip while still being able to see the weld pool and surrounding darker background, the Weld View Cameras can improve weld quality, lower defect rates, improve worker efficiency and the health and safety of welding processes.

Combining sophisticated sensor technology with advanced electronics to provide high contrast, high dynamic range images, the Xiris High Dynamic Range Cameras for Weld Monitoring are perfect for a wide range of applications including MIG, MAG, TIG, Plasma, Laser and Stick welding.

XVC-O Weld View Camera for Open Arc Welding

The XVC-O features a Camera Module with adjustable focus housed in a rugged IP54 rated enclosure able to withstand operating in harsh welding environments. The base package offers a complete robust system, with additional options such as air or liquid cooling, window dedusting, and a variety of console and camera mounts.

The image is displayed on an IP54 rated HMI Console with rich software features that include image recording and playback.

These superior features make the XVC-O the logical OEM Camera system choice for remote assistance in Open Arc welding applications!

XVC-S Weld View Camera for Submerged Arc Welding

The XVC-S provides a real-time view of the weld during the sub arc welding process. Housed in a rugged enclosure designed to withstand the weld environment, it can act as a setup tool to position the welding torch prior to welding or provide a means to adjust the welding position or welding parameters while the weld process is underway.

Increased environmental and competitive pressures continually drive manufacturers to be more productive and meet the quality demands of the market. Out of the box, and affordable, the XVC-S Weld View Camera is able to reduce some of the pressures welding fabricators face today, providing a weld monitoring tool where submerged arc welding is a significant part of the process, such as:

  • Pressure Vessels
  • Wind Tower
  • Light Poles
  • Pipe Production
  • Oil and Gas Applications
  • Nuclear
  • Railway
  • Shipyards
  • Automotive

Increase Productivity by increasing the “arc on time” with less stopping of the process to make adjustments and improve Health & Safety measures by removing the welder from the direct weld area by using the XVC-S Submerged Arc Weld View Camera.
