Xiris Automation Inc. is an engineering product development firm specializing in building “machines that can see” using machine vision technology.  Xiris designs and builds its camera systems at its headquarters in Burlington, Ontario, Canada and sells them to steel and metal working manufacturers in over 30 countries around the world to improve their quality and process control. Exports represent somewhere between 92-100% of any particular year’s revenue.  Xiris has about 35 employees between its headquarters in Burlington, Ontario, Canada and its full operating subsidiary in Ratingen, Germany, Xiris Automation GmbH. Xiris also has a network of over 60 sales agencies selling its products all over the world.

In his role as President, Cameron Serles splits his time between travelling the world for Xiris doing business development, key account sales and product marketing activities with time spent at our headquarters engaged in new product ideation and general management duties. Cameron is a registered Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada.
