The Xiris L6 color is a high-quality inspection system, especially designed for automated quality control for the full range of color printed discs such as CD, DVD and the new HD formats. It puts disc manufacturers in a position to guarantee their customers constant print quality at a definable level.

The L6c spots the diversity of defect types on printed graphics that can occur using today’s printing techniques. Furthermore, the system can handle any disc size, including free shapes.

Capable of reducing your false reject rate, superior software algorithms support image printing to maximize quality. The unique approach with two independent light sources enables the Xiris L6c to analyze lacquer and metal defects with the upper LED panel. Printed surfaces are inspected using the lower ring LED illumination. Combined with a high-resolution 3CCD, this feature enables the Xiris L6c to generate suitable image data for individual analysis of both color and surface structure.
