Xiris Appoints Pierre Huot as Vice President

part of the effort for diversification and expansion, Xiris strengthens its
management team with an experienced executive in business development and general
business management.
Pierre Huot has spent a number of years in the machine vision industry, most recently with Meta Vision out of Montreal and the UK, where he was the President of the Americas for the company. While at Meta Pierre Huot successfully turned around the underperforming division to profit and stability during his tenure. Prior appointments include Regional Manager at ABB robotics where he successfully launched a new market penetration initiative into the general goods sector.,
For Xiris, Pierre will be involved in a number of sales, marketing, strategic planning and general business management functions. The skills he brings will help Xiris diversify into some other markets, by performing a systematic, rigorous analysis of the potential of each market, before Xiris allocates resources towards product and market development. The addition of Pierre to the team will bring a new level of sophistication to our business development process that should help us find profitable, approachable niche markets that suit our culture and resources.
Pierre Huot has an MBA and an engineering degree, as well as a number of ideas where Xiris could expand its market.
